Incorporated in 1739/1740, Wilmington has much to offer its more than 100,000 residents. With popular beach destinations, protected waterways and a historic downtown, this Cape Fear coast provides big city living in a small, coastal town atmosphere.

Wilmington has an international airport, top hospitals and healthcare and is home to the University of North Carolina Wilmington.
