Meet the Country Club of Landfall's dedicated Management Team. Our team is here to assist our members, making them feel right at home at The Club.
- Jessi Reutter - General Manager
Jessi Reutter has over 20 years of private club experience. Jessi came to CCL after working as the General Manager of the Field Club of Omaha. Jessi has worked with Member owned equity clubs, ClubCorp and Eagle Golf. She is involved in the Club Managers Association of America and currently serving as the Coastal-Capital Region Chair.
- Charlie Zimmer - Assistant General Manager
Charlie Zimmer has over 35 years of private club experience, most recently working at Wood Ranch Golf Club. Charlie is extremely excited to be a part of the Country Club of Landfall team and will continue to develop a service culture and enhance the Club's mission to enrich the lives of the Members, their families, and guests.
- Kristin Wilson - Membership Director
Kristin brings with her over 10 years of experience in the Hospitality industry. Upon moving to Wilmington from Santa Barbara, CA, she joined the CCL team in 2014. Kristin attended the University of Kansas in Lawrence, KS, where she obtained a degree in communications with an emphasis in interpersonal communications. Kristin delights in creating lasting relationships with Members and their families and looks forward to continuing to enhance each Members experience here at the Country Club of Landfall.
- Jeff Mack - Greens Superintendent
Jeff brings over 10 years of experience in the golf course business, including having worked at MacGregor Downs C.C and the Country Club of Landfall. He graduated from North Carolina State University in Raleigh, North Carolina, where he received a Bachelor's Degree in Agronomy with a concentration in Turfgrass Management. During his career, Jeff volunteered during the 2004 US Open at Shinnecock Hills. He has also worked both the Landfall Tradition and Bell South Intercollegiate and has been a part of numerous renovation projects. Jeff uses his experpience to keep the Landfall golf courses "head and shoulders" above the competition. - Melissa Kirkby - Human Resources Director
An alumnus of UNCW and native of Jacksonville, NC, Melissa Kirkby joined Landfall Associates in January 1989 as Human Resources Manager. When the Club was purchased, Melissa transferred employment to CCL. Melissa enjoys helping the CCL staff and is heavily involved in the community by serving on PTA Boards, Wilmington Greek Festival, and volunteering at Mother Hubbard’s Cupboard.
- Eric Bischofberger - F & B Services Director
Eric is a dual citizen from Switzerland and has lived in Texas, Colorado, Virginia, North Carolina and South Carolina. Eric is a second generation club manager that worked his way up in both Front of House and Back of House under his father’s leadership at Forest Lake Club in Columbia, South Carolina. Eric received his Bachelor's degree in science, hospitality, restaurant and tourism management with a private club specialization from University of South Carolina. Eric spent several years as the assistant manager at The Country Club of Virginia in Richmond, Virginia. He is a past region chairman of Club Manager’s Association of America and was most recently the assistant director of food & beverage at Colleton River Plantation Club in South Carolina.
- Greg Guman - Director of Golf Instruction
Greg joins us as our new Director of Instruction after dedicating 17 years to Prestonwood Country Club and its members. He has earned a reputation as one of the best golf instructors in the Carolina's section of the PGA. Greg was elected a Class A PGA Professional in 1988 and has maintained his credentials since. He prides himself on his ability to teach golfers of all skill levels and finding new and innovative tools to help them reach their potential. CCL is excited for Greg to be a part of our team so that he can use his experience to provide our members the best golf experience.
- Charlie Owens - Head Professional Emeritus
Charlie Owens is a certified USPTA and USPTR tennis professional. Charlie joined us in 2000 after spending 11 years as the Director of Tennis at the Northriver Yacht Club in Tuscaloosa, AL and six years as the Director of Tennis in Pinehurst, NC. Charlie was a collegiate All-American tennis player at the Division I and II level and even won a NCAA Division II Singles Championship. Charlie played on the professional tour and notably made it to the 3rd round at Wimbledon and second round at the US OPEN in singles and doubles. Charlie was ranked as high as 56th in the world, including top 100 rankings for five different years. Charlie's goal include enhancing CCL tennis by further developing a strong adult and junior program and fostering a fun environment on the CCL courts.
- Judy Mitchell - Youth Activity Director
"If it’s not fun, I don’t do it.” This has been Judy’s motto for over 30 years as a professional artist/designer, camp art director, art teacher, library media assistant, kindergarten assistant or after-school teacher. With that said, she finds a way to make everything she does… fun! She is a graduate of Garland College where she majored in Graphic Illustration. Her focus at CCL is to develop and implement the very best, creative, exciting and unique children’s program. Judy started the Kid’s Club at CCL in 2006 as an after-school art club along with the Kid’s Club dinner and movie nights. The Kid’s Club has now grown to incorporate after-school clubs and activities, drop-in childcare, dinner and movie parties, birthday parties, summer camps and special events.
- Jon Ingham - Director of Tennis
Throughout his junior career Jon was the #1 junior tennis player in his hometown country of Bermuda. Jon later left Bermuda to attend University of North Carolina Wilmington, where he was a 4 year starter and team captain of the Men's Tennis Team his senior year. Upon graduation Jon became the Men's Assistant Coach and later the Women's Head Coach at the University from 1999-2000. Jon joined the Landfall tennis staff as Head Tennis Professional from 2000-2002 and then returned in 2004 where he has remained to grow the junior program. In his tenure, Jon has coached 15 state champions (high school/USTA) and five juniors who have received a # 1 ranking in the state of North Carolina. In addition, Jon's ACE Junior Programs have won 10 Junior Team Tennis State Championships, 1 Junior Team Tennis Southern Championship, and finished 3rd at Nationals for Junior Team Tennis. The juniors at CCL have also won over 300 tournaments in the last six years.
- Christina Schechtman - Communications Manager
Christina Schechtman began her career in communications upon graduation from Siena Heights University in Adrian, Mich. She served as the marketing manager of a franchised fitness facility before becoming a reporter and editor for a privately owned newspaper in Upstate New York. Her experience and dedication led her to the helm of a well-established community magazine in Oakland County, Mich., where she worked as the editor and publisher.
Christina has bachelor’s degrees in English and psychology, and a master’s degree in counseling. She has extensive experience working with nonprofit organizations and has utilized her psychology background to better create promotional materials that are engaging and meaningful to their prospective audiences.
- Brian Dennis - Executive Chef
Chef Brian Dennis was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and at a young age moved to Atlanta, Georgia, where he was introduced to the restaurant industry by working in his father’s restaurants. After discovering that he had a knack for cooking, he enlisted at the Art Institute of Atlanta’s Culinary Arts Program. Upon graduating in 1999, he started cooking professionally at the Country Club of the South in Alpharetta, Ga. He has been employed as an Executive Chef at multiple country Clubs and brings with him a wealth of experience and creativity.
