Whether it's casual or tournament, men's, women's or junior, golf is a major year-round activity at the Country Club of Landfall. With 18 holes by Pete Dye and 27 holes by Jack Nicklaus, members enjoy playing two outstanding courses created by these designers.
At CCL, it's easy to get a game. We have men's and women's golf associations as well as a women's nine-hole league that all provide a one-day-a-week tournament schedule and several interclub matches from early spring through mid-November. Also, an ever-growing young executive group has regularly scheduled "nine & dine" outings. These organizations, along with informal groups, offer terrific opportunities to meet other members, play at other courses, and compete at whatever level one chooses. A golf committee of CCL members plans regular events, along with major club championships, for men, women, couples and juniors. For those who prefer their golf completely non-structured and casual, their needs are fully met here as well.
Country Club of Landfall provides golf instruction to players of all ages and skill levels from your choice of male or female professional golf staff members with many years of teaching experience. They offer private instruction in addition to a variety of group clinics.
Over the past several years, our 45 holes have been continuously upgraded with rebuilt greens, bunkers, fairways, practice areas and a new irrigation system. Our standards of excellence place the courses among the finest in the Carolinas.
The Nicklaus course hosts the annual Willie Stargell Celebrity Golf Tournament along with other select charity golf events.
The Dye course will be the host site of the NCAA Women's Collegiate Championship for the second time, and the Landfall Tradition is a favorite challenge for top women’s collegiate golf teams from all over America.
In short, if your idea of a wonderful lifestyle includes playing outstanding courses in a beautiful setting twelve months a year, then the Country Club of Landfall is the place for you!
