Country Club of Landfall members enjoy a stimulating variety of social events throughout the year. The member-run Social Committee works closely with the Club's talented and dedicated staff to produce a variety of special events offering terrific opportunities to relax with old friends and easily meet new members. Each month of the year brings at least one special social event. Regular offerings include a Valentines' Day Sweetheart Dinner/Dance, a Saint Patrick's Day Bash, an Easter egg hunt and buffet, a huge Fourth of July parade and picnic, an adult Halloween Party, an elegant member's Harvest Moon Ball, a Thanksgiving buffet, a Christmas celebration, and, of course, a year-ending New Year's eve party and dinner dance. New events in recent years have included Cinco de Mayo and Hawaiian nights at poolside, an Oyster/Clam Bake, a Bluegrass and barbeque party, and an Oktoberfest. One of our very popular social offerings is the Country Club of Landfall Wine Club where members enjoy monthly gourmet dinners, wine tastings, and wine purchase at greatly reduced prices. Our Social Committee "Ambassadors" continually work to welcome new members and help them quickly become familiar with club activities and become involved at whatever level they choose. The Country Club of Landfall is Wilmington N.C.'s premier private club.
