[ Nicklaus Course | Dye Course ] Whether it's casual or tournament, men's, women's or mixed, senior, not-so-senior or junior, golf is a major year-round activity at the Country Club of Landfall. With 18 holes by Pete Dye and 27 holes by Jack Nicklaus, members enjoy playing two outstanding courses created by these designers.
Landfall provides golf instruction to players of all ages and skill levels from male and female professional golf staff members with many years of teaching experience. They offer private and semi-private instruction in addition to a variety of group clinics. Over the past several years, our 45 holes have been continuously upgraded with rebuilt greens, bunkers, fairways, practice areas and a new irrigation system. Our standards of excellence place the courses among the finest in the Carolinas. The Nicklaus course is a favorite challenge for top women's and men's collegiate golf teams from all over America, who participate each fall in our annual Landfall Tradition Golf Tournament. The Dye course has been the site of an NCAA Women's Collegiate Championship and several professional tournaments. In short, if your golf dreams include playing outstanding courses in a beautiful setting twelve months a year, then the Country Club of Landfall will make your dreams come true. Nicklaus Course, Country Club of Landfall
The Nicklaus Golf Course at the Country Club of Landfall consists of
27 holes, 18 from the original design opened in 1990 and a third nine
which was completed in 2001. The legendary Jack Nicklaus, perhaps the
greatest golfer of all time, played the opening round on September 6,
1990. Both fairway and rough are Bermuda grass, and all greens are a mixture
of the newest Bent grasses. Play is rotated among the three nines, which
have five sets of tees to fit all levels of golf. Dye Course, Country Club of Landfall
The Dye Course at the Country Club of Landfall was opened for play
in November of 1987. Its 18 holes were designed by Pete Dye, one the
great golf course architects of the twentieth century. He has designed
six of the first eighteen "Top 100 Courses You Can Play" and four of
the "Greatest Courses in the United States" as ranked by Golf Magazine. Players have a choice of five sets of tees ranging from championship at 7026 yards to the shortest at 4859 yards. The fairways are Bermuda grass and the greens are a mixture of the newest Bent grasses. [ Back To Top ] |
