A former mayor of Wilmington and Landfall resident once commented, "If you like what's inside Landfall, you'll love what's outside." Money Magazine has called Wilmington N.C. "One of the 12 Best Places to Vacation in America". And, Forbes Magazine named it one of the "Best Places to Live and Work in America". It takes only a cursory look at Wilmington's many attractions and conveniences to understand why it too is a place for dreamers.

A good starting point would be a visit to the beautiful historic and riverfront sections of downtown Wilmington. Or for more information, visit the Cape Fear website for a complete overview of the entire region.

For those whose dreams include the arts, history, the theatre, music, and beautiful gardens, the Louise Wells Cameron Art Museum, the Cape Fear Museum of History & Science, Thalian Hall, Bellamy Mansion & Gardens, Airlie Gardens, and the Battleship North Carolina, are all less than 30 minutes from Landfall Center.

Landfall residents especially enjoy having the 11,000 student University of North Carolina at Wilmington (UNCW) practically in their back yard. Ranked as one of the top public regional undergraduate universities in the South by US News and World Report, UNCW offers year round educational, cultural, and athletic events just ten minutes from our doors.

And just twenty miles to the south we have the new North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher and the Fort Fisher State Park, site of one of the Civil War's key battles.

If you live in Landfall, you'll be just five minutes from Wrightsville Beach N.C. with its many marinas, fifteen minutes from the Wilmington International Airport, less than nine miles to the New Hanover Medical Center, and have a new library and many outstanding restaurants just outside your gates! What more could dreamers want after fine golf and tennis and numerous social activities as a member at the Country Club of Landfall?
